Waves in Winter

Have I mentioned it's cold in Germany? I think so. This morning is was -5 when I woke up... The only thing that makes that a little less miserable than normal is that I can wear my Uggs!

The skirt is actually a tube dress from H&M. Layering sweaters over dresses is a great way to expand your wardrobe between seasons! 

I bought these boots when I was 17, and they were the single most expensive pair of shoes I had ever bought. I remember being horrified at how much I paid, but so excited because they are perfect for me!

This Michael Kors watch is a staple of mine. It has probably appeared in many posts and many more to come. 

It's a jungle out there. Or maybe an ocean...

Who says ocean animals and land animals don't love each other? I think they do! At least I love them together on me! Great white shirt from Zumiez (in America) and jeans from H&M (in Germany)

I know this is the second day in a row I've had a bun, but it's been busy! So to switch it up I just tied on a scarf. Be careful though, if you have it too far forward you look like a pirate. Not that that's a bad thing, just so you are aware. 

Practically fun

I currently work in a machine workshop that regrinds drills for airplane manufacturers, so what I wear everyday also has to be practical. (Yes, I am 1 of 2 women in the back workshop the other 5 people are men, and yes, I am the only one who still semi-dresses up to go to work here, and yes I run the risk of getting grease on all my clothes). So jeans, tee, and cardigan are practical. But more importantly, they are fun!

I believe this sweater has been handed down from all three of my older sisters... It's a Ralph Lauren, and it is at least 12 years old and still looks brand new. Good clothes go far!

I'm not quite sure what is going on with this tee, I think it's people having a picnic in some flowers... maybe? But I love it anyway! 

I kept today's look simple and fresh: pulled back bun, mascara, and a little black eyeliner on the edges. Sometimes less is more.

Shopping is such a great game

Yesterday I went shopping a little bit. My favorite pieces to look for are Accessories. Jewelry, purses, etc..And yesterday I found some wonders.

This purse is my new favorite thing! It's studded, neon, and jelly... Yes that's a bit much, but hey, why not? Life is too short. 

Ombre cobber necklace? Why yes I will buy you. (from H&M and when I got to the register is rang up as 1 buck!)

When I buy beenies, I buy them for both me and my husband. Sharing pieces is a fun game!

Bed Head

This morning I woke up and this is what my hair looked like. Literally, I didn't touch it. The whole day. So I figured to just go easy and simple today. 

Oversized graphic sweater, leggings, and knee-high boots. (And it's also snowing, so what you don't see are the thermal leggings under my black!)

Who knew nude?!

Who knew that nude was actually a lip color (and not just wearing nothing)? It's pretty, chic, and simple. And I really did know about nude lips, this was just the first experience with them.

The best part about tetris is every block is a different color.

I have had this necklace since high school, I bought it from Forever 21. And that is why I keep everything, it always comes in style. 

Classic flashback

I love classic vans (much to my husbands horror). If I could have 15 different pairs, I would love it! I had some fun with them today! (and here in Germany it's freezing, so that is why all my pictures are inside. I can't bear to NOT wear a coat and gloves and the whole winter shabang. When it gets warmer, the locations will change).
